fathers day 2013

Fathers day 2013 was a very wonderful day spent with my family and a couple friends. We went to Bear Lake north of Spokane Washington just a few miles. This park is a county park and a great place to spend the day. The weather was fabulous, in the high 80’s with lots of sun. If you ever get a chance to visit Bear Lake I recommend it. Stop by and go for a walk on the trail that goes around the lake, go out on the water with a kayak or simply sit and relax in the shade of a tree.

We set our things out then I took the kayak out for a trip around the lake. I took my son Cody with me. What a fun day spending it outdoors with my son.

Afterwards we went back to our spot for the day. Joanne and Cody played a game of Mexican trains while I sat and listened to music and watched them play the game.

Some friends along with my father and his wife showed up to join us. Some friends could only stay for a short visit but it was nice to see them regardless.

It was a wonderful fathers day. I can not think of a better way to spend my day than be out with the camper for the day and be with my family and friends.

I hope your fathers day was a great one.
