Getting our new camper

We knew we wanted a bigger and better built camper. We went back and forth on a couple choices but in the end decided on a Rugged Mountain Granite RL camper. We loved the layout design and the residential look and feel of that camper. It was an 11 foot with no slide outs. We really did not want slide outs and this was a perfect fit for us.

A big bonus with going with this camper was that we could customize things to our liking. Things like, counter tops raised 3 inches higher, getting an instant hot water system and so much more. In the end, somewhere around 20 items customized for us.

We would have had more customizations but the owners had already wanted to make a few changes with the camper, changes we wanted as well. Again, another perfect fit for us.

We decided in October of 2020 to make this happen. The build started and the waiting game started as well. The build actually went pretty fast and the only delay was waiting for the windows. Windows were ordered in time but delays in shipping were to blame. The manufacturer did everything they could to try and speed the shipping up but their hands were tied.

In July 2021 the windows arrived and shortly after that we went to pick up our brand new camper from them. The excitement was overwhelming.
